Welcome to the  IMAGINE Lab!

Over $200,000 in grant funding provided technology for the lab.  Funding sources included: Tennessee Valley Authority, CREATE/Toyota Wellspring Education Fund, Dean Provence Endowment for Excellence in Education, MDE K-8 STEM Initiative Grant, Ashley Furniture VEX Robotics Grant, and the Wal-Mart Community Foundation Grant.

The “Imagine STEAM Lab” is an innovative, state-of-the art modern lab that encourages a hands-on approach to learning while preparing students for jobs of the future.  The lab allows students the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in the career sectors that are important to our region including Healthcare, Information Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Logistics, and Energy. All students in grades 6-8 at New Albany Middle School visit the lab for quality instruction at least two times per month.

  • NAMS Receives Robotics Kits from TVA

    Special guests from TVA visited New Albany Middle School on January 31 to present robotics kits that NAMS received through grant funding from TVA Robotics. TVA representatives enjoyed a tour of the IMAGINE Lab, visited with Principal Paul Henry and Robotics Teacher Drew Davis, and viewed demonstrations in the robotics classroom.
